Youth Empowerment Support (YES)

2023 – 2025

The Youth Empowerment Support (YES) Project, funded by the Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL), empowered young people in Serbia to engage in addressing issues of public concern using newly acquired knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities, and to thus create a sustainable environment for civic participation. EWMI and its partners, National Coalition for Decentralization and Common Ground Consulting, aimed to achieve this through a tailored civic education program in high schools across the country, personalized mentorship support for individual youth e-activism; and sub-awards, capacity development assistance, and special initiatives for youth leaders and informal and formal youth civic groups.
