2024 – Present

EWMI has partnered with Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN) implement this US State Department-funded project project comprising a set of interrelated activities that will contribute towards eliminating gender-based violence (GBV) in Kosovo, especially as it affects diverse women. EWMI and KWN will work to achieve this goal by fulfilling three objectives: (1) Increase awareness, prevention, and reporting of GBV by diverse women; (2) Strengthen the capacity of Municipal Coordination Mechanisms against Domestic Violence (MCMDVs) to address GBV; and (3) Improve the justice system’s response to GBV cases.
