On June 2-6, the US Embassy and USAID organized the American Days celebration in four different regions of Georgia. The East-West Management Institute presented its programs at the Information Fair in all four regions (Zugdidi, Akhaltsikhe, Gori and Tbilisi), which promoted its previously finished Judicial Independence and Legal Empowerment Project (JILEP) and its new Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia (PROLoG) activity.
The EWMI table was joined by local partners, GYLA and TI, and provided local citizens with project materials and publications. The EWMI table was visited by a large number of inerested visitors that were eager to learn more about the programs and basically every material was in high demand. Several people provided their names and emails after expressing interest in getting involved.
In Zugdidi, on June 2nd, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and US Ambassador Richard Norland visited the EWMI table and they were greeted by EWMI Deputy Chief of the Party Giorgi Chkheidze, who provided them with information on the JILEP and PROLoG projects.
