EWMI is closely following developments related to the current outbreak of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID – 19) and monitoring guidelines provided by relevant international, national and local public health authorities.

In September, EWMI concluded its three year Promoting Dialogue and Tolerance in Fiji (PDTF) project.

EWMI’s implementing partner, Dialogue Fiji, hosted a Training of Trainers workshop in June 2013.

EWMI is working with a coalition of Fijian NGOs (Dialogue Fiji) to explore ways of initiating and developing an ongoing dialogue between the government of Fiji and the NGO community and promoting tolerance between the divided social and political groups in Fiji, in particular the Fijian majority

In December, EWMI held a five-day training workshop to improve the dialogue facilitation skills of a group of Fijians in hopes of expanding the team of facilitators available to Dialogue Fiji, a local coalition representing the NGO community, private sector, and faith-based organizations.
