Advancing Comprehensive
Anti-Corruption Reforms

2001 – 2006

The Advancing Comprehensive Anti-Corruption Reforms program was funded by the Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) and was designed to contribute to strengthening Armenia’s ability to prevent, fight, and reduce corruption through the increased transparency and accountability of governing institutions. Through this planned two-year program, EWMI aimed to enhance the skills of Armenian justice personnel for effective handling of corruption and transnational crime cases, support the government’s efforts to strengthen the anti-corruption legislative framework, develop relevant new training curricula for Armenia’s Justice Academy, and support Armenian partners to strengthen conviction integrity and improve the quality of evidence in criminal cases.
