Finance Job Opportunity with New USAID-funded Project in Armenia
The East-West Management Institute, Inc. (EWMI) invites Armenian national experts to apply for finance and budgeting leadership position with a new, five-year international development project called the Promoting Human Rights in Armenia (PHRA) activity, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). These are long-term, full-time positions based in Yerevan, with the assignments scheduled to begin immediately.
FINANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (FHRM)
The FHRM will be responsible for managing the PHRA Office financial activities and preparing financial reports, and ensuring the Office’s compliance with USAID and EWMI policies. The FHRM will assist the Program team with operational, human resources, and procurement support as needed guidance and support from the EWMI Home Office Program Manager. He/she will ensure the quality control of financial reports from local partners and grantees. Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing, increasing roles of responsibility, and extensive professional experience in finance, operation/administration, logistics and/or human resource-related matters for international development programs, preferably with USAID funded projects;
- Demonstrated history of increasing roles of responsibility, and demonstrated supervisory experience;
- Strong knowledge of both US Government financial reporting and compliance requirements and Armenian tax, labor, and finance laws and regulations;
- Experience in risk management and implementation of internal controls;
- University level degree in accounting, business administration, or related field; and
- Fluent in Armenian and English.
