East-West Management Institute, Inc. (EWMI) invites applications for the Chief of Party (COP) position as part of EWMI’s proposal for the upcoming five-year USAID/Civil Society Resilience (CSR) Activity in Cambodia. This is a long-term position and offers a generous benefits package.
The COP will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program, and will serve as the principal interlocutor with USAID and key stakeholders, development partners, and CSOs, as appropriate. The COP will ensure the Activity meets stated results as per its goal and objectives and responds to reporting requirements in a timely manner.
Required qualifications:
- This position is for a United States citizen or third country national.
- 15 years of progressively responsible international experience managing civil society programs.
- Demonstrated technical expertise managing and leading large civic engagement programs.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capabilities in high-level strategic vision, innovative programming, and ability to lead a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience with gender and social inclusion approaches.
- Demonstrated experience working in Asia and other relevant contexts is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels.
- Proven senior-level experience working with CSOs.
- Proven senior management experience in civil society projects, gender mainstreaming, and working in a multicultural environment.
- Previous COP experience preferred.
- Experience and/or familiarity with USAID projects and programs preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, mentoring, motivation, and supervision of multicultural teams within a dynamic setting.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with CSOs across multiple sectors.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in English.
