EWMI’s Culture of Ethics and Compliance
EWMI is fully committed to implementing its projects ethically, transparently and in compliance with all laws, regulations and contractual obligations to which it is subject. As part of its efforts to promote an institutional culture of ethics and compliance, EWMI:
- Maintains a Code of Conduct that sets out the standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct for all EWMI directors, officers, employees, consultants, contractors, and agents;
- Provides exceptionally strong financial, operational and program systems and management to ensure the highest levels of compliance; and
- Is committed to implementing policies, procedures, training, and outreach initiatives to ensure an organization-wide culture of ethics and compliance. In addition to a Code of Conduct, these include policies on conflicts of interest, whistleblowing, and anti-harassment, among others.
Reporting
Reports of fraud, abuse or harassment must be brought to EWMI’s attention in a timely manner. Reports and questions may be submitted through: (i) the employee’s immediate supervisor, (ii) Field Office Chief of Party, (iii) EWMI Home Office Project Director, (iv) EWMI Home Office Officers (President, Executive Vice President, Vice President) or via e-mail to compliance@ewmi.org. All reporting is subject to EWMI’s whistleblower protection.
