Originally founded in 1988 to address legal and economic reform issues in Central and Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, EWMI has since expanded its activities in geographic and technical reach. With current programs in Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Poland, Egypt, and Kosovo, EWMI is continually expanding its reach to new areas around the globe, particularly in Asia and the Middle East.
